Silver coated wedding ring wearing out =(, is it fixable?
I bought my wife a silver coated ring, and it’s wearing off (it’s lost its shine in some parts and you can see the copper colored metal underneath) is it possible to repair this by something along the lines of putting on a new coat of silver? Any advice for how to repair/fix this would be much appreciated as the ring has high sentimental value.
It is always possible to replate this as it has a sentimental value. Go to a professional silversmith to insure that there will be no compromise on the quality of workmanship. It shouldn’t cost you more than $100-200.00 dollars.
