Why didn’t William offer Middleton a $1500 ring produced by a modest chain of British Jewellers?
Wouldn’t it have been fitting and kingly to eschew petty personal displays of sentiment and instead of parading his mothers monstrous rock to order a simple ring of the type ordered by most Britons and thereby to give a boost to the British jewelery trade?
Because he’s as tight as a duck’s @rse with money, just like the rest of the family. Curious really as they use other people’s money.
